Due to the COVID 19 pandemic thwarting pretty much all live gigs I was approached by CMAT to help visualise her idea for a unique Christmas livestream special inspired by festive shows of the past inspired by everything from the likes of Glen Campbell Christmas hour, The Sonny & Cher Show and Top of The Pops.
I co directed and shot the special in Whelan’s alongside filmmaker Frances Healy. The show featured a hilarious script from CMAT alongside a stellar lineup of musicians and performers including the Pillow Queens and Junior Brother.
The special was extremely well received as one of the best music live streams of the year including a five star review from the NME.
